Mothers with low levels of Anger Control reported more frequent temper tantrums in their children than did mothers with high levels of Anger Control. The children of these mothers were rated with the Spillage and the Independent Temperament Scales at Time 2. Participants consisted of mothers with children between 2 and 5 years of age who were rated as being high or low in Anger Control at Time 1.
